We strive to fulfill the Kiwanis vision of changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Our mission is to help educate our children, support our community, and establish ourselves as the premier service organization in East Meadow.
Supporting the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce Trunk or Treat! 🎃📚 It was a joy to see so many smiling faces as we served over 1,000 children in our community. We were thrilled to provide each child with both a treat and a book to take home to encourage a love for reading. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our trunk—it was a spooktacular day of fun, community spirit, and giving back!
A special thanks goes out to the East Meadow High School Key Club for their incredible support! We truly appreciate you helping us manage the various tables at the Trunk or Treat—your hard work and enthusiasm made a huge difference in ensuring the event ran smoothly for all the families who attended. We are so proud of our partnership and grateful for your dedication to serving the community!
Celebrating excellence and dedication at our meeting last night! 🌟 We were honored to present several special awards to our incredible members:
🏆 Everyday Hero Award: Our President Donna, for her life-saving actions at Barnum Woods School. 🎗️ Pediatric Lyme Disease Awareness Award: SDPLG Ross Schiller. 😇 Angie’s Angels Awards: Ted Rosenthal and Mike Panagatos. 🎓 Noma Gonsalves Scholarship Fund Award: Cliff Buckman. 🏅 Peter Mancuso Leadership Award: Mike and Julie Leake.
We were also grateful to have New York District Kiwanis K-Kids Administrator Kevin Kamper join us for an informative presentation on our youth protection policies. Ensuring the safety of the children we serve remains our top priority.
We are excited to share our updated flyers for the 2026 East Meadow Kiwanis Food Drive! We kindly ask for your support in spreading the word to help us make a difference in our community.
Our food drive will be held on November 14th and 15th at the Uniondale ShopRite. Thank you for your continued generosity and help in fighting food insecurity!
Please take some time to help us collect food for our Thanksgiving food baskets that are distributed to approximately 125 recipients. Together, we can ensure every family in our area has a wonderful holiday meal. ... See MoreSee Less
