The East Meadow Kiwanis Club gathered for a special Membership Recognition Night, marking the final meeting led by President Melody. This memorable evening was dedicated to honoring our members for their outstanding service and dedication throughout the service year. Each member’s commitment has made a significant difference in our community, and we are proud to celebrate their accomplishments.
During the event, donations were made to several important organizations and initiatives supported by Kiwanis. These contributions reflect our ongoing commitment to children, health, and the well-being of those in need. The beneficiaries included: • Kiwanis Children’s Fund • New York District Foundation • New York District Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease • New York District Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center • Games for the Physically Challenged • Eden II Genesis Program • Heart of American Homes

Dear Kiwanis Family, I would like to thank Immediate Past President Melody for the amazing year we had and for all of her dedication to our club. I’m honored, excited and humbled to begin my term as president of our amazing Kiwanis Club. Thank you for your trust and support — I’m truly grateful to be part of a group so deeply committed to service, kindness, and community. Our club is extraordinary because of you — our members. Your dedication, generosity, and spirit of volunteerism are the heartbeat of everything we do. Whether it’s organizing events, lending a helping hand, or simply showing up with a smile, you make our club a place where real impact happens. As we look ahead, I’m looking forward to the meaningful work we’ll be doing together. Here are just a few of the exciting events coming up: 📅 October 9th – Installation of the New Board Join us at the Coral House, 70 Milburn Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510, as we celebrate the installation of our new board. If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so as soon as possible by emailing Tom Gallagher at [email protected]. 🎃 Trunk or Treat – A fun and safe Halloween celebration for local families. 🦃 Thanksgiving Food Sorting & Delivery – Helping ensure families in need have a warm and nourishing holiday. 🍽️ Senior & Military Thanksgiving Dinner – Honoring and serving those who’ve given so much to our community. 🎁 Toy Drive – Bringing joy to children during the holiday season. 🛒 Holiday Food Pick-Up – Supporting families with essential groceries during the winter months.
My vision for this year is to build on our strong foundation by: Strengthening member engagement and celebrating each person’s contributions. Expanding our outreach and impact through new partnerships and initiatives. Creating a welcoming space where we can continue to reach those in need.
