Dear Members and Friends,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Curry on May 1, 2026, following a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Patrick was a dedicated Kiwanian, Past President of the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, and a longtime partner at the legal firm Rosenthal, Curry & Krantz.
Patrick’s legacy of service is extensive. In 2026, he was honored with the inaugural Patrick Curry Legend Award for his invaluable contributions to the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, where he oversaw record membership growth and the opening of Veterans Memorial Park. In 2025, he was named Volunteer of the Year by the Salvation Army and received the New York District Kiwanis Everyday Hero Award.
His commitment to the community included 33 years of chairing the St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon for the Garden City Kiwanis and launching the Civility Campaign for Garden City High School graduates. He also served on the board of the Lutheran Counseling Center and was a steadfast supporter of the Adelphi Circle K Club. Patrick was a great friend to the East Meadow Kiwanis Club and we always appreciated his faith, loyalty and humor on the many visits he made to our club.
Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Suki, and the entire Curry family.
