East Meadow Kiwanis is proud to sponsor a Builders Club at Woodland Middle School and WT Clarke Middle School and The Eden II School. Builders Club is open to any middle school student who wants to join. These clubs provide any student who is interested in performing community service an opportunity to do so by joining Builders Club. Because Middle school bridges the gap between childhood and young adulthood, it presents young people with unique challenges and opportunities. Kiwanians believe that young people need and want new and exciting challenges. We also believe that positive efforts and involvement by adults can channel a child’s energy to help in their personal development of a happy and productive life. Builders Club helps to build strong leaders for tomorrow…today.
We strive to fulfill the Kiwanis vision of changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Our mission is to help educate our children, support our community, and establish ourselves as the premier service organization in East Meadow.

The club is still in need of contributions through other means, such as monetary donations and direct individual contributions. The materials collected from the drive will be distributed on Dec. 20. To make a direct financial contribution, the Kiwanis Club is accepting donations on Venmo via code BOF-EMK.
To schedule a pickup of unwrapped new toys, contact Reinhardt at 516-351-9891.
